as much as people like to call this man out as a sexist pig and a hack, I honestly think he's legendary and deserves recognition for what he's made in MGS.

Where did the sexist thing came up with? Is it something with his characters?

Where did the sexist thing came up with? Is it something with his characters? |
kojima likes sexy women and does not give one fudge for fanservice implemented in his games. Some of it is funny, some of it cringe. People out there are plain offended by the latter though.
As for the "hack" bit, people are so mad with Death Stranding it's funny.

Outside of people who’ve mocked him for the explanation as to why Quiet wears a bikini top and torn nylon stockings which originally said there was a good reason for it.
No one has called him sexist.

The only people who call him a hack are far right albino apes. Who whine about Death Stranding and post Peace Walker Metal Gear being too political. When the series has always leaned to the left of Japan. It's the same morons who hate the new Star Trek shows.

Ah yes, the far right who hate him for.. *checks notes* ... the Beauty and the Beast Unit's erotic dances and photoshoot minigames, Paz's sexual assault, vagina bomb, and swimsuit photoshoot, Quiet's name and outfit, the entry logs in Death Stranding about asexuality, homosexuality, and abortion, the fact the main two female characters are called Mama and Fragile, the concept of the BBs and stillmothers in general being misogynistic not to mention transphobic. All things I've seen "right-wing" outlets like Kotaku, Vice, and Polygon criticize.
Sarcasm mode off. Usually the narrative people try to push is Kojima's fanboys as being some of the worst of the Gamer™ community and Kojima himself as a misogynist so I don't really see why you would try to say the opposite. After all the crap MGSV and Death Stranding got at all the main outlets I don't think anyone could possible fall for that ruse.
