Anime Expo always has some cool panels but man, you could not pay me to attend as a regular attendee. Whether Otakon gets major industry panels this year or not, I know I can at least walk around the DC convention center without feeling completed suffocated.

Glad CR was able to license the newer MHA OVAs. Maybe one day they'll go back for the rest of them like they did with AoT, but I know it's often pretty tricky getting those rights. Speaking of, I wonder why the Yu Yu Hakusho OVAs they announced a couple years back never actually got released?

Let's cross our fingers that the OVAs will get an English dub soon

I'm still waiting for the Kamisama Kiss OVA's (I think there are a lot of Fairy Tail OVAs they never dubbed too).

I know this expo is for the U.S. and the My Hero Academia English dub won't have any changes, but I wonder if the merger between Crunchyroll and Funimation will have some kind of effect on the Neutral Spanish dub for season 5 and the OVAs. Just yesterday, a Mexican television channel, called BitMe, announced they're going to broadcast MHA and Assassination Classroom in Spanish, using the dub which was made by Funimation. Many were happy about Assassination Classroom, since its dub was well received, but MHA's Spanish dub still continues to face criticism. After the merger between Funimation and Crunchyroll was completed Funimation stopped making new dubs and Crunchyroll is now premiering them instead, but unlike Funimation which made their Spanish dubs in Mexico City, Cuernavaca and Miami, all of CR dubs are made in Mexico City (and they made their own dubs there even before they were acquired by Sony). I think CR is the one who manages the production of Spanish dubs now, but I think they'll continue with the Miami based dub for MHA, despite the fans' complaints, not to mention that it would be very expensive and difficult to make an entire re-dub of the series in Mexico at this point.
