Finally, Cinedigm is kinda serious about keeping RetroCrush alive.

Just wanted to mention that Sentai did put out a blu ray years ago that seemed to be a nice remaster. How much nicer were GKIDS BD discs versus Sentai's? Worth an upgrade at all?

No. GKIDS' video quality is inferior. And it was recommended to people who own Sentai's release to keep it and not buy GKIDS' release.

I might upgrade to Cinedigm's release if it is a better master.

Good to know! Always nice to save money when it comes to double dipping on the same shows.

Nadia is a fantastic show aside from the filler arc, definitely should give it a rewatch at some point soon

Cinedigm snatched the streaming sub-license from GKIDS. The 4K "remaster" will be used.

The GKids set is based off a recent 4K upscale Japan had made and well, it was hit with heavy DNR.

Comparisons:

* - The Sentai set apparently had incorrect gamma levels so that's why it looks brighter

The show is set to get a 4k SDR release at the end of this month in the UK by Anime Limited.

This is a show I've always been interested in seeing, but it seems like the kind of thing that Retro Crush is going to put behind a paywall.

I hope Future Boy Conan can get a streaming release sometime. GKids has it on bluray and digital sales, but they rarely seem to get streaming rights.

I’m glad to see Nadia is coming to streaming on RetroCrush but what happened to all those shows and movies that vanished because of what RetroCrush blamed on technical difficulties that they said they were working on getting back? Those are all still gone with zero updates and half of everything left seems to be behind a paywall now.

I already own the show on Bluray (the first Bluray, with the better picture quality), so I'm good.

But for the streaming, I believe what should have been done, is a new edit. Take THE Island Episodes, and cut out as much stupid material as humanely possible, thereby making them much more watchable, and not at all something for Anno to be embarrassed about.
