Jealous! Nao Yazawa is one of the few manga I am fond of that has reasonable English skills and I'd love to meet her!

Wow! Wedding Peach! It's been ages since I've read it and I still own my copies Smile I should look up if she's done anything recently.

You lucky ducks!
On another note, I've been looking for a decent set of Japanese copies everywhere... And I asked Yazawa, but she said there's no talk of getting the manga reprinted. Unfair!

I would love to go to "Talk About Japan: My Works, My Thoughts" class. Even if I can't draw, that class sure sounds interesting and I have the required Japanese level for it. It's a shame I don't live in Canada.

You can find them on Yahoo Auctions. At least 2 auctions are up right now for the original version and another two for the new Anime version.

There are two sets on Amazon, though they're in "decent" quality. I can't use Yahoo auctions because Japan doesn't want to give a gaijin a debit card.

I got to meet her today at my high school. She was teaching a manga workshop and I went! ^_^ She is really nice and I learned so much from the manga art lesson. She signed my sketchbook too! Her art is stunning, I love 90s manga art as well as modern manga art. My art teacher told me about it a few weeks ago and I was first one to sign up. Just OMG! I'm still freaking out! I love Toronto and my high school. SO HAPPY I LIVE HERE!!!! ^^
