I'm really hoping for an english-subbed release of both this movie and the series somewhere--maybe Hong Kong at some point if nowhere else?

I've been buying up all of Maiden Japan's Patlabor re-releases and would love to have these, too. I hope it's on their radar now that the last of the anime films is on the release slate.
