Hideo Kojima is gonna become a generic top x lists youtuber. What a year to be alive.

"Amazing" is subjective.
Anyway, I hope he becomes the next great top x list Youtuber. Somehow, I could totally see it. Hope he collaborates with Matthew Santoro at some point.

I will be keeping a watch for this =03. The man deserves this after Konami treated him like s***. It's as if the eagle finally escaped his cage, and can soar wherever his wishes =03.

Yeah that seems really weird. I don't get the appeal of Top ten lists apparently they're super huge on YouTube. Hope he doesn't get lazy and just become a YouTuber for a job instead of making games. Would be pretty sad if he just became a let's player or something like other people have since its easy money

Will the first video be an apparent lost video signal except with "HIDEO" up in the corner instead of "VIDEO?"

He's been doing this sort of thing even at Konami.
Just a thing to kill time and sometimes tease/promote his game.

If he's making a top 10 movie list for 2015 then I bet that his #1 pick will be Mad Max Fury Road also I don't think he'll Count The Force Awakens since it premiered in the middle of December and is still currently in theaters.

They're huge everywhere outside of YouTube too. Cracked has been doing it for at least a decade, for instance, and sustains itself as an online magazine mostly from those lists. There were also those Top 10 Songs shows on MTV in the 1980's by various hosts.
Top X lists are a quick way of showcasing a bunch of different things without having to go into detail for any of them, the equivalent of news bites with a specific theme. They also have appeal in how a viewer, listener, or reader might like to predict what will be on that list. It's a perfect example of what the Information Age: People are curious to know a lot of things but have short attention spans, so they quickly go from one thing to another.
