The Internet Reacts to Pokémon Sword/Shield Monster Reveals

Today's Pokémon Direct presentation revealed some highly anticipated details about the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch games. Players now have a concrete release date and a first look at some of the newest monsters making up the Galar regional PokéDex.

The new Pokémon in the games will include Wooloo, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, Drednaw, Corviknight, and the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. The Legendary Pokémon (pictured above) easily found their way into fans' hearts after the trailer reveal. The combo of "sword + dog" and "shield + dog" was an easy one and fans quickly reacted to choose their favorite.

The Legendary Zacian and Zamazenta quickly put fans into two camps, but their reveals still seemed overshadowed by introduction of Wooloo, a sheep Pokémon and the internet's new favorite soft baby.
