Inuwari-san TV Comedy Anime Created by College Student
posted on by Egan Loo
The Japanese production company Anon Pictures has announced that it will exhibit Inuwari-san, an original anime project that it plans to air on television, at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) this week. Inuwari-san (Keiko Yamamoto) is a canine (inu) police officer (omawari-san) who loves law, order, and tea. Inuwari-san vows to be the infalliable "sweeper of evil." Yukiko Yagi, a current student at the Digital Hollywood University in Tokyo's Akihabara district, created this slapstick comedy. Anon Pictures' Atsushi Yamazaki (Be Rockin') is directing, and the company's Tadashi Matsuyama is producing.
Anon Pictures' booth and Miyagi Prefecture's Sendai Animation Grand Prix booth at TAF will screen a pilot film, which runs about five minutes long. The anime was developed as part of Miyagi Prefecture's Miyagi e-Brand Establishment Support Project. Anon Pictures previously worked on the Be Rockin' original anime short, the NHK BS television series Silk Road Boy Yuto, Tokyo MXTV's Scarecrowman television series, and other projects.
