'Hoopa: the Mischief Pokémon' Anime Short Prequel to 18th Pokémon Film Streamed

The official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel began streaming the "Odemashi Komajin Hoopa" ("Hoopa: the Mischief Pokémon") anime short on Saturday. The short serves as a prequel to last year's Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages anime film, and was originally available on DVDs distributed alongside ticket sales for the film. The short will be available for streaming until July 18.
The official English Pokémon website, as well as the Pokémon TV app streamed the short in English last December.
In addition, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages will air on six channels over the TV Tokyo network on Thursday, July 14 at 6:00 p.m. JST. The film's airing will contain previously unrevealed footage for the upcoming Pokémon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna anime film.
The Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages film premiered in Japan in July 2015. The film premiered on Canada's Teletoon last November, and on Cartoon Network last December.
Pokémon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna, this year's film, will open in Japan on Saturday, July 16.
