Film earned more than £100,000 on Thursday 'wide' release

The website Film News UK reports that the one-day 'expanded' release of Makoto Shinkai's your name. earned £108,372 at the UK and Ireland box-office. The expanded release was on Thursday November 24, when the film played at 104 screens, the most for an anime film in the UK and Ireland. It also broke the record for a single-day gross.

Film News UK quotes James Dobbin of the cinema National Amusements, which released your name. together with Anime Limited.
