3rd Show By Rock!! Stage Musical Gets New Visual

The official website for the third Show By Rock!! stage musical revealed a key visual and its performance schedule on Tuesday. The musical will run from October 19 to 29 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo. The new visual shows Kenta Kamakari as Trichronika's Shu☆Zo (left), and Kosuke Yonehara as Shingan Crimsonz' Crow (right). Both are returning from previous stage plays.
The franchise has inspired two previous musicals. The first musical, Show By Rock!! Musical ~Tonaeru Kachikudomo! Crimson Falldown Revolution Apocalypse~, ran in Tokyo from February 11-16. Live Musical "SHOW BY ROCK!!" ~THE FES II-Thousand XVII~ ran in Tokyo from May 11-13.
Sanrio began distributing the Show By Rock!! game developed by geechs for iOS and Android in 2012.
The first Show By Rock!! television anime series premiered in April 2015, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Funimation then released the series on home video in December. A series of spinoff shorts, Show By Rock!! Short!!, debuted in July 2016, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired.
The second anime season, Show By Rock!!#, premiered in October, and both Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the series as it aired.
Sanrio announced earlier this month that the franchise will get a new project.
