Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Game Launches for Switch, PS4 in May

Natsume Inc. announced on Wednesday that its Harvest Moon: Light of Hope game will launch for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in May this year. Natsume said that the new console version will be a "special edition," and said it would reveal at a later date what makes the console version "special" compared to the original PC release.
The company also announced that Rising Star Games will release the game in Europe, Australia and the Middle East. Natsume worked with Rising Star Games to release the game for PC in Japan, North America, and Europe on November 14.
In the game's story, the player character arrives at a small harbor town after a shipwreck. The player works to rebuild the town and its lighthouse by farming and gathering repair materials. The player will be able to make friends and start a family.
Natsume previously published games in the Bokujō Monogatari game series in North America under the umbrella title of Harvest Moon. However, XSEED Games is now publishing Bokujō Monogatari games in North America, and it is using the title Story of Seasons because it cannot use Natsume's Harvest Moon title. Natsume has continued to release new games under the Harvest Moon title.
