Apple announced on Tuesday that it will debut its Apple Arcade service for iOS on September 19, for iPadOS and tvOS on September 30, and for macOS Catalina in October. The service will have a monthly subscription cost of US$4.99 (with "no additional purchases"), and it will have a one-month free trial.
Apple also announced new games for the service, including Sega's ChuChu Rocket! Universe, Bandai Namco Entertainment's Pac-Man Party Royale, WayForward's Shantae and the Seven Sirens, and Square Enix's Various Daylife.
The service will launch with over 100 new, exclusive games, with more games debuting every month. Players can download games to play offline, and also "jump" between the different platforms.
